It was an excellent day for running with good conditions on a flat two lap course in Walton Hall park and it was clear that everyone from the first to last runner taking part enjoyed the day as much as the weather.

Margaret Aspinal from Hillsborough Family Support Group got the runners off at 11.00am and the HFSG charity had a good turn out with members of their committee also taking part.

The Blues charity was The Rhys Jones Memorial Fund. Christine Chellew was there on the start line encouraging her Army Colleague to yomp around the course complete with full 32lb back pack and Army Regulation boots!! Well done that man!

It was good to see members of staff from the Everton Foundation both in attendance and taking part! They were also responsible for the excellent cheerleaders at the start and finish.

In fact, well done to everyone who took part. See you next year.
