LAS VEGAS CLAIMS
1ST WORLD SANTA CHALLENGE TITLE

Having counted the final number of entries for the Liverpool Santa Dash at 6,952 it would appear the winners of the first World Santa Challenge is the Las Vegas Great Santa Run!

With a total of 7,192 posted on the Vegas web site for the Great Santa Run on Saturday, 5th December it meant the Liverpool event has PERHAPS!! fallen short by just 240 Santas the following day! We are at this moment awaiting a recount from Vegas!

The Liverpool event attracted 6,952 adults inclusive of 465 Mini Dashers.

2009 has seen the first drop in entries in six years
with the 2009 total of entries down by 62 from 7,014 in 2008.

Thanks to everyone who turned up, raising lots of money for the Charities.
Thanks also to all our staff and helpers without whom this event would never happen

A special mention must go to all the Evertonians who ran in Blue Suits raising money for the Everton Foundation
