You can get to Liverpool by road, rail, sea and air.
BY ROAD
Liverpool is easily reached from the Motorway network, from the M6 you can use the M58, M56 or M62 motorways. The city centre is approximately 45 minutes' drive from Manchester, Chester and North Wales, and is just over 1 hour from Blackpool, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Moors and the Peak District National Parks. London is just over 4 hours away.
BY RAIL
Liverpool Lime Street Station, in the middle of the City Centre is well served by main line trains from all over the country. London to Liverpool takes just over 2.5 hours.
Once in Liverpool there are very good local services to Chester, Wirral and Southport.
BY SEA
You can travel to Liverpool by sea from the Isle or Man, Belfast or Dublin.
BY AIR
Liverpool Airport, which is approximately 7 miles from the City Centre, is served by flights from Belfast, Londonderry, Dublin, Cork, Knock, Shannon, the Isle of Man, Jersey and many destinations in Europe.
