The Liverpool Half Marathon is now in its 17th year and starts and finishes on the famous River Mersey waterfront. The race attracts a wide range of athletes from beginners to seasoned athletes preparing for the London Marathon a couple of weeks later. The course is a mix of good quality urban roads and established parkland with a flat and fast finish along the River Mersey promenade.
