Who we are

Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity is delighted to be an official charity of the Liverpool Women’s 10K/5K!

Breakthrough exists to improve the lives of people affected by breast cancer through innovative research, campaigning and breast health promotion.

Sadly breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with nearly 46,000 women and 300 men diagnosed each year.
